We are the NYU League of Linguistics!

Our club brings together language enthusiasts of various backgrounds and interests to explore linguistics. Our aim is to learn about undercovered linguistic topics, host interdisciplinary discussions, and create a welcoming community.

What we do:

1. Events: From movie nights and casual discussions to expert panels and reading groups, we host a variety of events that are open to all.
2. Community: We strive to create a space where people with different perspectives can share ideas and connect over common interests.
3. Exploration and fun: We focus on topics not typically covered in classes, such as language endangerment and cryptographic puzzles.
